Indeed, the Sillerman Center is leading a growing movement among colleges and universities to incorporate philanthropy into the mainstream curriculum.
Says Andy Hahn, executive director of the Sillerman Center, “We are helping generate a movement where college and graduate students participate in a vital aspect of civic engagement. Teaching philanthropic values to university students is an essential activity in a democratic society.”
