2012 Grant Awards

In 2012, more than 100 students, faculty and alumni will participate in visual art, music, theater and multidisciplinary projects at Brandeis during the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts with grants from the Office of the Arts to produce innovative and artistic work that offers opportunities to create, participate, and learn about the arts. A jury of faculty, staff and students evaluates grant applications on the quality and innovation of the project, and the potential for broad involvement of the Brandeis community during the festival.

The grant jury for the 2012 festival is chaired by Ingrid Schorr and Scott Edmiston of the Office of the Arts, and includes Yu-Hui Chang (Music), Monique Gnanaratnam (Intercultural Center), Stephanie Grimes (Student Activities), Shawna Kelley (Music), Michele L’Heureux (Women's Studies Research Center), Nera Lerner '12 (Art History), Cathy Messier'12 (Theater), Kristin Parker (Rose Art Museum), Chip Schoonmaker (Theater), and Joe Wardwell (Studio Art).
