Frances A. Drolette

Frances A. Drolette began her career at Brandeis in 1976 and held several positions before becoming the associate director of budget and planning. Drolette left Brandeis to work for Babson College in several capacities in 1991. She became the college’s first budget director and later the director of financial planning and budgeting.
Drolette was appointed to the president’s cabinet as the director of collaborative strategies in 1999. Her primary responsibility was the business relationship between Babson College and the newly founded Olin College of Engineering.
She left Babson to become the associate dean for administration and finance at the Boston University School of Public Health in 2002. During her four years as associate dean, she was responsible for administration, budgeting, facilities and human resources.
Drolette returned to Brandeis as vice president for budget and planning in 2006. She was appointed as the senior vice president for finance and chief financial officer in 2010.
She received her M.B.A. from Northeastern University in 1991.
